ABOUT

Twenty years. Three disciplines. One framework.

The work behind this site spans chemical engineering, construction management, and large-scale program delivery — from process industry capital projects governed by AACE and CPM discipline to hyperscale AI infrastructure builds where procurement is the critical path and the schedule compresses by a factor of three. That combination is uncommon. The problems it surfaces are not.

ConstructionPM.ai exists because the PM who moves from a refinery expansion to a 200 MW data center campus — or from a hyperscale tech program to an owner's-rep role on a billion-dollar EPC — doesn't have a clean reference. The methods that work in one environment break in the other in specific, predictable ways. This site documents those failure modes and the framework that addresses them. Everything here is genericized. No employer names, no site names, no contract values. The lessons are real. The details that would identify anyone are not.

SPEAKING

Bring this framework to your team.

Available for half-day and full-day workshops with PM and PMO teams navigating the transition between capital project discipline and hyperscale delivery speed. Topics include the decision hierarchy, preconstruction handoff gates, procurement-as-critical-path, and the specific failure modes that appear when one methodology is applied in the wrong environment. All content is genericized and cleared for delivery to any audience.

Half-day workshop

Decision hierarchy, phase model, and the top five cross-environment failure modes. Designed for PM teams of 8–20.

Full-day workshop

Complete framework walkthrough with working sessions on your active program. Includes preconstruction handoff gate review and procurement critical path mapping.

PMO keynote

60–90 minute session for larger PMO or leadership audiences. Focused on the hyperscale transition and what capital project discipline gets right that speed-first programs miss.
